We’re back at ThunderHill Raceway for Rounds 10 & 11 of the time attack series this weekend and it looks like a record number of 86s are signed up to participate at these NCRC events which will take place on the 3-mile track. There’s a lot of excitement in the air as more 86DRIVERS than ever before are joining in the fun and competition with us and quickly getting addicted to the thrills and speed. And in the Stock, Street and Modified competition classes there are some strong points leads starting to be established, but it’s still anyone’s championship to claim as we head into the last 3 rounds. We’ll be there both days this weekend with the 86DRIVE BRZ of course, duking it out in the Street class with some very fast competition — I honestly don’t think I stand a chance against much faster drivers Jeff Juanlu (86CUP laptime record holder) and Wilson Wong (Street class points leader), but it’s just so much fun, I love going out there and seeing what I and the car can do.

And if you’re not busy this weekend, you can come out and cheer all of us on — admission to watch the racing action is free and we’ll be parked in the 1st covered awning area so come by and say hi! If you have a helmet you might want to bring it as you could even catch a ride on-track for a session with one of us if you ask! Watch for photos and updates here, and on our instagram account @86drive. For more information about the NorCal 86CUP series, check out the discussion at
