Well folks the first annual NorCal 86Fiesta is in the books! We had, quite appropriately, at least 86 cars show up to the meet! Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a great meet! What a great turnout, there were so many cars and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I kind of regret not taking more photos and spending more time looking at all the cars, but that was because I spent more time talking to more people and in the end that was what made the day great for me. The community is what makes this great. That and the prizes, and the drive afterwards.

After the BBQ, car show awards and raffles, we took to Mines Rd for a fun cruise out to the Junction. And then those of us who wanted more, continued on up the back side of Mt. Hamilton to the Lick Observatory at the summit where we got a quick tour of the telescope and enjoyed the fantastic view. We also ran into another group of driving enthusiasts led by one of the 86Fiesta sponsors Meng Motorsports and exchanged hellos before heading down the mountain at sunset back into San Jose. What a great day and an awesome drive. Thanks to everyone who came out and took part in this and helped make it a great event!
